Gas Stations

Commercial Cleaning for Gas Stations & Convenience Stores

Including Single Unit Mom & Pop, Multi-Location Cleaning for Gas Stations and Convenience Store Chains, 24 Hours in 5 Counties Across Southwestern Pennsylvania.

Upgrade the Blah.

We can all agree that most gas stations and c-stores have one common thread: they’re forgettable. Let’s be honest, some are just downright filthy. But it doesn’t have to be that way. Customers always remember clean over filth, and in a business where split-second decisions at the pump can make or break your traffic, first impressions aren’t just important, they’re everything. A grimy storefront, oil-stained concrete, and weathered fuel canopies don’t just look bad; they tell customers you don’t care about their experience.

At United Sprayers, we transform gas stations and convenience stores from eyesores into spotless destinations:

  • Restore curb appeal that makes drivers want to stop at your station instead of passing it by.

  • Protect your investment by removing harmful contaminants that degrade concrete, paint, and building materials over time.

  • Give customers a reason to choose you over the competition down the street with a clean, welcoming environment they’ll remember.

It’s Not Just Pressure Washing — It’s Full-On Customer Retention

If your station looks dirty, customers associate it with everything else — your bathrooms, your food, your safety. We help you take control of that. Don’t wait until someone leaves a bad Google review about the grime around your pumps. Let’s make your business the kind of place people want to stop.

United Sprayers specializes in mom and pop single unit locations, as well as multi-location exterior cleaning contracts for gas stations and convenience stores across Pennsylvania and the surrounding region. We’ve successfully completed projects for several fuel station locations throughout Pittsburgh, the surrounding suburbs, and across Western Pennsylvania. We handle every aspect of your facility’s exterior — fuel pump stations, pump islands, concrete pads, overhead canopies, storefronts, building facades, signage, and drive-thru areas for locations with food service operations.

Gas Station Cleaning FAQs

Why are gas stations so dirty?

High foot and vehicle traffic, plus oil and fluid leaks from vehicles, create constant contamination. Regular cleaning prevents permanent staining and maintains customer appeal.

We use appropriate pressure levels with specialized detergents to remove dirt, grime, cobwebs, insect nests, bird nests, and droppings. The cleaning method depends on the canopy material..

Covering the pump is important if doing nearby pressure washing to protect water entry to card readers. Then, low-pressure, low-impact cleaning with degreasers is the most effective way to clean a gas pump. The pump itself is hand-cleaned with damp clothes.

The short answer is ‘no’ – not entirely. Concrete is very porous. Oil and various other fluids that have been absorbed into the concrete will almost always leave a discolored shadow. Nevertheless, the difference between concrete that has been pressure washed with concrete that has not, is remarkably evident. The surface stains alone make up for the most of the unsightly appearance. While some product manufactures make claims to the contrary – experience has proven otherwise.

Oil and grease stains are obviously the most common problems that gas stations experience. Other problems include loose dirt, grime, cobwebs, gum, and insect nests.

Project time varies based on facility size, condition, and specific cleaning requirements. We provide time estimates during our assessment.

We usually charge based on square footage. However, some factors – such as the presence of specific kinds of pollutants, uncommon problems, and the need for multiple pre-treatments and/or post-treatments – can affect the final cost of the job.

Monthly cleaning is ideal for high-traffic locations. At minimum, we recommend 2-3 times per year, depending on traffic volume and environmental conditions.

We work around your schedule, arriving during less busy periods or after closing to minimize disruption to your operations.

We maintain strict Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) that every technician follows at every location. These SOPs cover safety protocols, cleaning methods, chemical applications, and quality checkpoints. Regular training ensures all team members execute the same procedures.

No. We do however give a satisfaction guarantee, but due to the nature of gas stations, we do not offer any other extended warranties.

We accept all forms of payment, including Zelle, ACH, company check, and purchase orders for for approved accounts under contract and clients with active service agreements.
